How do you create the life you wish for? I wish to be in alignment with peace, with contentment, with comfort and with joy. My thought flow about these four things led me to a holistic practice in healing as a venue for coaching. My study and practice of positive psychology opened to include more. More of my belief system. More of my experiences. More of the reality of my cultural identity. More of the reality that nothing in our world is exclusively true or untrue.
Your world opened my view once I aligned with our global consciousness.
As the new year turned into our new reality, there was an overwhelming sense of novelty, hope, and a call to kindness from every corner. Our involvement in communicating with people from all over the world has been a gift. The creators are in Great Britain, but we live all over the planet. We’re in sync with a desire for a more positive world. We collectively understand that.
Alignment
For years, as I was delving deeply into what makes us happier, healthier, and balanced. Once upon a time, I was falling apart as I focused on writing about falling into place. I was not thinking positive thoughts beyond getting through my professional day. Then, collapsing into a puddle of sadness due to struggles at home. Everything was misaligned.
I was in the mindset that our thoughts didn’t just magically create our reality. My thoughts controlled me, not the other way around. How could they? I couldn’t control what someone else was doing to my life. I struggled with the truth of how our thoughts reflected our actions. I struggled against myself. I lived in a misaligned place, had friends with cruel intentions, while growing angry at the injustice of my life experiences. Then? I had clarity. Vision. Purpose.
Vision
Today, I focus on the vision. I focus on clarity. I focus on purpose. Big and small. I focus on the grand scheme of humankind and the small miracles we all witness every day. Today, I realized not that long ago, all of that which I aligned myself with became exactly true. I didn’t make huge shifts. Today, I’m consciously aware of all alignment.
I simply aligned myself with the thought of peace, contentment, comfort and joy. I replaced negative thoughts instead of trying to fight them. I shifted focus toward those I wish to know rather than those I didn’t want to know.
I became the embodiment of a quieter, more comfortable joy, rather than the out loud leaping sort. When we shift, we change, but when we align our thoughts with what we want, we can’t help but make them happen. Yes, it’s a psychological common sense thing. We become what we think about. It’s a process and won’t happen over night, but it will happen.
Peace!
