Clarity is … awareness

The entire world is now aware of itself. Sometimes, it’s too big and we panic, or feel less than worthy. Other times, we think that we are all there is, that all else matters not.

We all matter. Equity stems from realizing our significance.

People on social media are always sharing meme’s of the galaxy, blazing with stars, one no more significant a blip than another. There is no significance to them that showcases their magnificence in breadth or depth.

There’s always a tiny arrow pointing to one of the tiny specks, indicating earth. It usually reads, “You are here”. Signifying nothing other than we are but specks in time on a place that isn’t actually significant. It suggests that we are in fact, nothing in comparison to the universe. Perhaps it means, that our problems are nothing in comparison to the grand gesture that is creation itself.

I have a different twist on this concept that diminishes our value, our worth and our contributions to what was, or what will be.

We are in fact significant in the way that even a tiny drop of water can change the tides of the ocean. I may be but a whisper in the ear of a few, and I’m okay with that. I’m not out to change the world in powerfully published ways. I’m not a braggart, but nor am I a beggar. And yet, according to my own theory, braggarts and beggars are as significant to our world as I am and therefore, worthy of acceptance as they are, for who they are.

We’re living in a time that is like the tides themselves, pushing against themselves to be valued by the world.

Some are pushing love and peace.

Some are pushing hatred and anger.

Most just want to be left alone in peace. Others, have no choice but to be heard.

Each sliver of emotion that we throw at another human being is a ripple in the fabric of time and a drop that will change the tides.

I won’t join in the masses that say that my thoughts will change the outcome of my fate. I’m not a believer in secrets of the universe that terrorize me into believing that all the negativity that naturally enters a human mind from time to time will deem that person doomed to a miserable life. It’s more complicated than that.

However, we are capable indelible beings of light and love and we owe it to our selves to each and every one of us, trust that love is the root of all healing. Self love. Galaxy love.

When we find peace within, we can better emotionally deal with the exploding stars of change outside of ourselves. That’s not magic. It’s neuroscience, psychology, philosophy and really, common sense.

Recognize ourselves AS the center of our own version of the universe. Then, we can begin to appreciate that our significance is in fact universally important in how we treat one another.
