Dr Sandip Roy is a Psychology Writer, Cognitive Hypnotherapist, and General Physician with 15+ years of practice experience. He is a medical graduate from Nil Ratan Sircar Medical College & Hospital, Calcutta, India, having earned his MBBS degree in 1997. He then went on to work as a Resident Physician in various hospitals of high repute in Delhi NCR, India.

During his years of residentship, he handled a vastly diverse category of patients in emergency rooms, indoor wards & OPDs. He also attained competence in the use of IT imperative to patient care information storage/retrieval systems, and hospital management system. He passed the PLAB Examination (Part 1) from General Medical Council, London, in 2003.

He has also worked as a Head – Medical Academic Faculty at CybOrg Institute of Medical Transcription, Noida in 1997-1998, where he crafted & developed the curriculum content, and taught medical subjects to medical transcriptionists with an emphatic focus on simplifying the technical language at all levels.

He earned his Post-Graduate Diploma in Psychological Counseling (PGDPC) from Institute for Behavioral & Management Sciences, Chittoor, India in 2007.

His credentials as a Cognitive Hypnotherapist are self-acquired over years of academia, deep research and rigorous practice. He has conducted numerous seminars & workshops on Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, and consulted many clients/patients towards their therapy & wellness.

He has been practicing as a General Physician & Psychologist at RamaKrishna HealthCare (RKHC), Delhi, India, a multispecialty clinic which he jointly established in 2001.

During his free time, he enjoys reading, playing chess, and discussing holistic healthcare practices.
