Centering. Cultivating the center of our being. That is how we thrive.  We’re inundated with pretend, fabricated, artificial, inauthentic, ingenuine, insincere, and yes, fake everything. It’s hard to tell who is true these days. It’s hard to tell who to trust. The internet has given us the world, but it’s also given our brains new challenges in what to focus on along with how long we can focus.

The result of swimming in the dark with all this negative or toxic artificiality is that our brains can’t always just shut it off. People have mastered the art of lying. The selfie revolution, the tutorials on make up, the outrageous stories. They are all evidence that we can too easily become the plastic version of ourselves.

When the world gets to be too much, we have to learn new techniques, or actually, go back to ancient ways of learning how to quiet our minds to the white noise that is this insincere way people do business now.

Center

We were born with intuition as our sixth sense. Some people in the field of psychology have and still debunk it as nonsense. They repeatedly say that it’s just our brain trying to trick us. There is evidence that we over and under estimate our abilities. This is true. However …

There is a sixth sense, an intuitive knowing, but the world is so full of self doubters and those who need something to be seen, not felt, that we overlook this internal super power. We all possess the power to heal from within. We find our balance by staying mentally focused on it.

Cultivate your life

Our minds are so much more powerful than we realize. We don’t need computers. We don’t need any certain setting or outside noise. No app necessary. All those things are nice. They certainly can help us reach that ‘easy button’, but they won’t invite mastery.

We have problem solving built in. We can refine our talents in deciphering our world. We can wake up at this very moment to retrain our brains to do what the human brain’s have been able to do all along.

Sit in stillness. Feel peace, joy, happiness, curiosity, creativity, genuineness, content with what is. Simply by holding the thought.

We can indulge in conscious awareness of self in a few minutes every few hours throughout the day. By doing so, we are able to shift our wants and desires into anything we want.

Call your thoughts to order.

Movement helps us reconnect with our physical body. Take epic, deep breaths to fill our physical body. While doing so, have that internal dialog that you are one with your mind, body, soul and self. No outside distraction needed.

In so doing, we are loving ourselves. When we are centered, we can share our story without feeling controlled by it. We are connecting ourselves to the universe. No electronic or artificial intelligence needed. This is to intellectually clarify who we are, as we are and we are, enough.

Peace and Love,

Karen
